South African rising star Zoe Kruger was denied her maiden ITF $15,000 World Tour title at the W15 Antalya in Turkey on Sunday after losing to Cristina Dinu 6-3, 6-4 in the final.

The 18-year-old has been having somewhat of a breakthrough season in the senior ranks, having also fought gallantly in a local tournament earlier this year. Kruger was afforded the opportunity to enter the Ilana Kloss International, an ITF $25 000 World Tour event, which took place at the North-West University Potchefstroom Campus, as a wildcard.
