The International Tennis Federation (ITF) has revealed the full list of teams set to compete at the 2024 Davis Cup Juniors Finals, taking place from 11-17 November in Antalya, Türkiye.
 
Sixteen boys’ teams, including our very own South African team, will vie for the title of world champions in the 16-and-under age category. The South African Davis Cup Juniors team features Connor Doig, John Bothma, Nipho Ngwenya and Jayden Summers.
 
Hosted by the Turkish Tennis Federation on the clay courts of the Megasaray Tennis Academy, this prestigious event highlights the importance of player development and showcases future stars of the sport. We wish our South African team the best of luck!
 

The players contesting both Finals will be following in some illustrious footsteps. Previous winning teams at the Finals have featured the likes of Rafael Nadal, Ashleigh Barty, Felix Auger-Aliassime, Denis Shapovalov, Iga Swiatek, Carlos Alcaraz, Marketa Vondrousova and Coco Gauff, underlining the importance of the event in terms of player development.
