South Africa will be proudly represented by five athletes in the Paris 2024 Paralympics Wheelchair Tennis Event, set to take place on the iconic clay courts of Roland Garros from Friday, 30 August to Saturday, 7 September 2024.
 
Leading the South African charge in the women’s event is three-time Grand Slam champion Kgothatso Montjane, joined by wildcard recipient Mariska Venter. In the quad event, Roland Garros doubles champion Donald Ramphadi will lead the singles competition and team up with former world No.2 and two-time Grand Slam champion Lucas Sithole, who also received a wildcard, in the doubles. Africa Para-Games champion Alwande Sikhosana will represent SA in the men’s event.
 
A total of 28 nations will compete in this prestigious event, with 96 players vying for glory across six events. Let’s support our athletes as they take on the world!
