South African women and quad teams will represent the country in the prestigious 2021 World Team Cup, the International Tennis Federation (ITF)'s flagship wheelchair tennis team event, in Sardinia, Italy, which gets underway on Monday 27 September.
Teams from 23 nations are set to compete for the four titles at the Baia di Conte Resort in Alghero.
Featuring Peifer, Frédéric Cattaneo and Guilhem Laget, France have been seeded fourth for the event, held in the Sardinian town of Alghero.
The quad team is in Group A along with Netherlands, Great Britain, and Turkey.
The women’s team headline Group B and is drawn with Brazil and Japan.
The quad and women’s teams begin their campaign today (Tuesday) against Netherlands and Brazil, respectively.
