The South African U18 junior tennis team are ready to take on the African Junior Championships (AJC) - to be played at the Royal Tennis Club de Marrakech in Morocco, from 12-17 March 2018.
The South African boys and girls under 18 teams will be coached by KIA Davis Cup captain, Marcos Ondruska and Fed Cup captain Rene Plant, respectively

In the AJC boys’ category, 17-year-old Philip Henning of Bloemfontein is ranked the highest (54) on the International Tennis Federation (ITF) world junior rankings.
Henning, before leaving for Morocco, captured the Brooklyn Union Axnosis ITF. The tournament was Henning’s second Grade 3 ITF title win and seventh overall international junior title.
Henning’s good run over the past year was rewarded when he was named as one of several players to receive the first ever International Junior Player Grant.
