Rainbow Kidz Matchplay Mania events were hosted in George, Western Cape and Mangaung, Free State over the past two weekends.
Mangaung welcomed 28 Orange Ball players, 22 Boys and 14 girls in the Green Ball sections. Eden had 8 boys and 7 girls compete. Orange sections played timed matches in a team format where the Green ball sections played timed round robin matches followed by best out of three short sets in the playoff rounds.
The Rainbow Kidz events form part of TSA’s initiative to create more competitive opportunities for players 10-and-under across South Africa.
