Lloyd Harris has exited the Citi Open (ATP 500 event) in Washington DC. The young star lost in straight sets (1-6, 4-6), in the round of 32, to British number one Kyle Edmund.
Fellow South African players, Kevin Anderson (singles) and Raven Klaasen (doubles), are both in action tonight at the same event.
Kevin, as 4th seed, had a bye in the first round and will begin his tournament against Frenchman Adrian Mannarino. Meanwhile, Raven Klaasen and Michael Venus, seeded 3rd, face the unseeded German pair, Mies and Krawietz, in the doubles round of 16.
