Tennis South Africa is delighted to confirm the return of the Samaai Junior Open - an ITF Junior Grade A event.
The event, named after local tennis legend, David Samaai, who passed away in 2019, is one of only six ITF Grade A tournaments hosted globally.
Outside of the four Junior Grand Slams, Grade A tournaments are the most prestigious events on the ITF Junior Tour and include the likes of the world-famous Orange Bowl in the USA.
The inaugural Samaai Junior Open first took place in 2019, but had a COVID-19 enforced break in 2020. It now returns to Cape Town in late October 2021. As an added bonus, the singles finals of the tournament will be broadcast live on SABC television platforms.
