Philip Henning secured his second consecutive title at the Curro Centre Court Series on Monday, following a rain-delayed final match. Originally scheduled for Sunday, the final was postponed to Monday due to inclement weather, with Henning leading 2-0.
In an outstanding performance at Van der Stel Stadium, Henning defeated top seed and compatriot Kris van Wyk with a solid 6-4, 6-4 victory. This win marks Henning's second title in the Curro Centre Court Series, having also triumphed in the first week of the event.
The women's singles event saw Stephanie Visscher emerge victorious after Elena Jamshidi was compelled to retire due to a shoulder injury. We extend our best wishes to Elena for a speedy recovery and look forward to her return to the court.
Congratulations to Philip Henning and Stephanie Visscher on their M15 and W15 achievements!
