Eastern Cape Provincial BNP Paribas RCS Rising Star Tennis Champions were crowned in Gqeberha and Makhanda this weekend.
A dream for many but achieved by few. This dream was made a reality for another bunch of players this weekend as they battled it out to book their spots in the national final of the nationwide school tennis tournament.
Stirling Primary School enjoyed a double victory winning both the boys and girls titles in the Primary Schools category.
In the High School event, Pearson High School clinched the boy’s trophy and Clarendon High School were the victors in the girl’s event.
The teams will represent Eastern Cape in the national final – which will be held in Gauteng from 30 July – 1 August 2021.
