Kevin Anderson has been handed a tricky first round tie in the men's singles at the US Open.

Anderson, seeded 5th for the tournament, faces unseeded Ryan Harrison of the USA on Monday.

The South African has been drawn in 1st seed, Rafa Nadal's, side of the draw and, while there is long way still to go, if all goes to plan, he could face the Spaniard in the quarter-finals.

The paid famously met in the final of the US Open in 2017.
