The Cape Town leg of the BNP Paribas RCS Rising Star Tennis tournament concluded on Thursday at Bellville High School.
The district event which was contested in two categories – Primary Schools and High Schools for both girls and boys attracted 37 teams who battled it out for spots in the provincial final.
Curro Durbanville dominated the High School event, winning both the boys and girls titles. In the Primary Schools event, De Hoop Primary and Beaumont Primary won the boys and girls titles, respectively.
A sports project with a purpose, BNP Paribas RCS Rising Star Tennis aims to provide opportunities for primary and high school boys and girls from hundreds of schools around the country.
