Delien Kleinhans has cruised into the final of the ladies singles at the AUSC U20 Games in Botswana. The Free State junior, seeded first at the event, was a comfortable 6-4, 6-0 winner over Leungo Monnayoo of Botswana.
Elsewhere, Ntokozo Zungu was also on song in the ladies back-draw play-offs against Zambian, Mwasa Ngulube, winning 6-0 6-1.
The doubles event kicked off on Saturday and there were two wins for team SA.
Robbie Arends and Thando Longwe-Smit progressed to the semi-finals of the boys doubles via a straight forward 6-0 6-2 drubbing of the Malawian pair of Banda and Sikelani.
Ntokozo and Robbie, seeded second in the mixed doubles, came back from a set down to edge the Lesotho's duo, Motlojoa and Manyama, 10-5 in the tie-break decider. The win sees them advance to the last four.
Robbie and Thando are back in singles action on Sunday, with Robbie playing for a place in the men's final.
