We’d like to wish Wendy Modiba the very best of luck as she competes at Les Petits As – Le Mondial Wilson in Tarbes, France, which gets underway today 22 January- 1 February. This prestigious tournament, now in its 44th edition, is regarded as the world’s No.1 Under-14 tennis event and is often called the unofficial U14 Junior World Championship, bringing together the very best young players from over 50 nations across all five continents.
At just 12 years old, Wendy’s qualification for this Super Category Tennis Europe event is a massive achievement and a true testament to her talent. Les Petits As has a remarkable history of producing future stars such as Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, Coco Gauff, and Iga Świątek and Wendy now has her chance to shine on the same stage.
