The three weeks of back-to-back ITF J60 Pretoria tournaments concluded at Groenkloof Tennis Club in Tshwane, showcasing some of the world’s most promising junior tennis talent. The event, part of the ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors, featured matches across the Girls’ and Boys’ Singles and Doubles draws, with standout performance from South Africa’s Allegra van der Walt claiming all three girls singles titles! 

Week 1 Highlights

In an exciting first week of action, Allegra Van der Walt secured the girls' singles title with a standout performance, while Morgan Jordaan and Koronayashe Rugara powered their way to victory in the girls' doubles final!

Week 2 Highlights

In the second week, Allegra Van der Walt triumphed again in the Girls’ Singles claiming a second consecutive title. Meanwhile, Ethan Dodd finished in second place. The Boys’ Doubles crown went to South Africa’s Siyabonga Jaca and Kulani Shipalana, while the Girls’ Doubles title was secured by Morgan Jordaan and Koronayashe Rugara.

Week 3 Highlights

The third week saw second seed Allegra Van der Walt continue her dominance, capturing the Girls’ Singles title after a battle against Koronayashe Rugara with a win 7-5 6-4.

In the Boys’ Singles, South Africa’s Cuan Western finished as runner-up after falling in the final to top seed Jeffrey Strydom (Australia).

The doubles action was equally exciting, with Morgan Jordaan and Koronayashe Rugara claimed the Girls’ Doubles crown with a 6-2 5-7 10-7 victory over Allegra Van der Walt and Angelique Van der Walt.
