The Van der Westhuizen Tennis Academy is looking for a passionate Qualified and registered Coach to become part of our Team.

Established in 1979, the VDWTA is located in Monument Park, Pretoria - www.vdwta.com

Coach Responsibilities:

  • Coaching during scheduled times
  • Private lessons, training sessions, squads, group lessons
  • Tournaments, Touring and Holiday Clinics

Coach requirements:

  • TSA Registered Coach (minimum Play and Stay) or in the process of registration/qualification
  • Fluent in Afrikaans & English
  • South African Citizen or if a foreigner a valid work permit
  • Own transport to venue (All coaching takes place at one venue)
  • Reliable, well organized and friendly
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work with all ages and levels of players

Academy offers:

  • The Academy offers a 12 month guaranteed fixed salary (with the opportunity for more)
  • Racquets and bags sponsored by Dunlop
  • The Academy supplies all coaching equipment incl. balls
  • Stringing
  • Option to be involved in the Padel and Pickleball courts currently under construction at the Academy
