Deuce tennis academy is most importantly looking for a high performance coach that has worked with top level tournament players, but can coach players of all levels.

 

Base, minimum starting salary of R30 000 a month, with higher potential commission based earnings.

Expected to work 6 days a week, and 35 hours a week.

Tennis+ is offering an opportunity for an enthusiastic Qualified and TSA registered tennis coach to be part of its dynamic coaching team.

We are based in Hillcrest, KZN and are fortunate enough to offer coaching all year round in any weather conditions at our Tennis+ Indoor Court.

Your responsibilities:

  • Coaching during the morning, afternoon as well as Saturday mornings
  • Private lessons, sparring sessions, school squads, club squads and group lessons
  • Work outside normal hours if the schedule requires you to
  • Holiday tournaments and clinics
  • Regional and National Tours

Your requirements:

  • TSA Registered Coach (minimum Play and Stay)
  • Management and leadership experience essential
  • Fluent in English
  • Passion for tennis and coaching
  • Full time commitment is not negotiable
  • Having a growth mindset is very important
  • South African Citizen or if a foreigner a valid work permit
  • Valid Driver’s license and own transport essential
  • Reliable and well organized
  • Excellent communication skills

Tennis+ Responsibilities:

  • 12 month guaranteed salary
  • Clothing sponsorship with Lotto or Puma
  • Racquet sponsorship with Head
  • Supply of all coaching equipment, including ball’s , demo racquets etc..
  • Unlimited re-stringing
  • Weekly coaching meetings and coaching workshops

We are looking for someone who is passionate about tennis and eager to grow with our academy.

Requirements:

  • Should have attended the TSA Play and Stay Course.
  • Must be registered with Tennis South Africa or in the process of registration.
  • Must have reliable transport to and from Midstream Estates or Tygerpoort.
  • Must possess a cell phone for communication purposes.
  • Excellent communication skills. Fluent in English, being able to communicate in Afrikaans will be a bonus.
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • No previous coaching experience required, but the candidate must be able to learn quickly and fulfil all job requirements.
  • Must be eager to grow with the academy and committed to long-term development.
  • No job hoppers: we are looking for someone dedicated to a long-term position.
