Thursday saw one of our rising young under 18 stars, Bertus Kruger, win his first round singles qualifier at the Junior French Open.
The Gauteng Central youngster comfortably beat Japan's Toru Horie 6-2, 6-2.
This was a big win Kruger as Horie is currently ranked in the top 50 in the ITF Junior rankings!
